This will be the penultimate show to end our tour. This professional production has had brilliant reviews from the BBC and is surely not to be missed! Urjah tells the story of Goddess Gayatri's journey following the energy of the sun. Four professional dancers combine contemporary style with a rich fusion of classical Kathak and Bharatnatyam dance against an atmospheric filmic backdrop.

Urjah (Special Olympics fundraising event) Wednesday 15 October 2008 : 7.30 pm

Peepul Centre, Leicester

This a Special Olympics fundraising event for the Lord Mayor of Leicester's appeal. All the money raised at this event will be handed over to the Lord Mayor on the day of the performance.

There will be a buffet dinner available to those who opted for it before the professional performance starts at 6 pm. The performance itself starts at 7.30 pm with an interval at 8.30 pm. During the interval, a raffle draw will be held with 10 donated prizes to be given away. From 9 to 9.45 pm we will have talented youth groups of CICD, Desi Masti and Nupur Arts performing 'Bollywood Dhamaka'.
