Flaming Feet
A unique and exciting residency, combining the rhythms and disciplines of Indian classical Kathak dance and music with Irish traditional dance and music.

Indra Dhanusha
This spiritual and ethereal Kathak production was conceived by Nilima Devi for the Company in India during 1993. It is based on the abstract philosophy of the Bhagavadgita, the famous Indian scripture which describes the experience of oneness with an eternal, absolute force through one's chosen medium.

Katha Kahe so Kathak (KKsK)
Dedicated to the work of one of the 20th century's great Kathak poets - Pandit Sunderlal Gangani - KKsK presents some of his finest, most imaginative poetic works as writtin in the ancient Braj language.

Ugly Duckling
A full-length Kathak dance and drama ballet based on the famous Hans Christian Anderson fable, performed by a cast of 50 participants across Leicester and the East Midlands.

Vyom - Dances of the Spheres
Commissioned by Leicester City Council through a Millennium Festival grant, CICD produced this Indian dance ballet to celebrate Diwali in the year 2000.

Nritya Sangam
‘Nritya Sangam’ was a cross cultural exploration combining South Asian Classical Kathak dance style and music with African Caribbean dance and music. The performance was vibrant, energetic, ambitious with fast and fluid movements challenging the diverse audiences of UK.

Nartan Festival
The Nartan Festival aimed to bring together dance practitioners and choreographers, dance academics and researchers, organisations, funders, arts managers and individuals interested in South Asian dance in the UK.
